Hi, Nowadays we can change the column width by drag and drop them. However, the min-width for a column is set to 100. I suggest lowering this minimum. When you are playing with numbers is too wide. Cheers, Ibai Länk till full forum post

Feature request. Situation: I have motocycle forums on 5.0.5 Cloud plan. People from all over the world come to ask Tech questions or to post DIY's for their motorcycles. Issue: Members often forget to post which year and trim level motorcycle they are talking about and some model years and trims have different tech specs and or parts. Requested: Feature solution. I would love if we could set predetermined Prefixes that Members would have to choose from when creating new topics, but only in certain boards/sections of the forum that we would choose in Admin CP. Result: A member comes to post a technical issue or DIY that they have with their motorcycle. when creating a topic, they are forced to choose a prefix and a menu pops up with Prefix choices 2021-2023, 2024-2025 ETC, etc. After they make their choice the prefix is inserted into the beginning of the title of the topic. Then , members can always give accurate info and also be able to search for solutions by prefixes and get more accurate search results. Im sure this would help many other Admins as well. I know it's long removed, and it's been advocated for by many, and IPS always says it's not an accurate count... That philosophy is not extended to page count. One of the main arguments against adding in post counts (many other forum software's have it) is that if I am not a moderator and a post was hidden, it may seem illogical for me to see 1, 2, 3, 5... There may be many hidden posts in this thread, and yet on the forum list, I can see there should be 88 pages. Please consider adding it back, at least as an option. Länk till full forum post

Hi, As IPS5 has merged featured content and promoted content and my community has over 20 years, I promoted lots of content in the past. Now the Featured content in Files is showing content from many years ago. It's been changed for the worse for example in IPS4 if someone replied it to a topic it was 'Username replied to Username's topic in Forumname' Now its 'Username posted a post in a topic in Forumname' posted a post / in a topic in I get removing Username's topic part but it doesn't sound right. Post, a and in are all repeated. The best solution might be 'Username replied to a topic in Forumname' Länk till full forum post

I can re-arrange the tags on the admincp, but they remain in alphabetical order for users. Maybe that's intended but it's weird messaging if so, and I am instead suggesting a toggle for alphabetical or manual tag sorting. For privacy reasons we do not use mass-email. But in certain events we might want to alert all members and mass-PM could be useful. However, this is, to my knowledge, not possible. I think there was a 3.party plugin for it. Suggest this as a standard functionality. Länk till full forum post

Just wanted to feedback on the pricing we were quoted yesterday for a staging server on the cloud platform - $249 per month. That's more expensive than the 2nd most expensive non-enterprise hosting package for a (virtually) zero-traffic staging server. I've seen some strange pricing of things in my time, but I don't think I've seen anything so obviously priced in the 'we don't want you to buy this' bracket as that. Obviously, the price is the price and Invision can set it where they like, but just wanted to put it out there that we're a paying customer (already on the business package for what it's worth) who wanted to spend more money with you, but definitely won't be at that price! I know it's been gone for several versions now, but in the past, we were able to rely on developers to help restore some removed functionality. I hear that friendly numbers are not possible to restore through an app. Every now and then, we have "get a lot of posts" days, trying to get past a milestone. For this forum, how do I know how far away I am from 1.8? Is it another 10 posts? Another 600 thousand? There is no way to know. Please add it back as an option. Thank you Länk till full forum post

Hello, i own quite a large community existing 25 years now with over 70.000 members and over 5.6 million posts and gigs of attachments, In all this years, an incredible amount of knowledge was acumulated especially in the tech part of my community and i'm searching for a way to make this knowledge accessible. Topics are reaching hundreds of pages discussing certain topics, information is buried there. I was thinking about training an AI with all my community data. What do you guys think about this? It's been nice getting a feel for v5 here before we actually upgrade our site, and there are a lot of features that are really great. I'd just like to give a piece of feedback about the Username/Avatar and Notifications/Inbox icons here: While I understand the design reason for moving them down, they are much too small. It's hard to notice whether I'm actually signed-in, and it makes the notifications/inbox icons difficult to notice. Will there be an option for making the larger? To be honest, the avatar is also really small on a post. By the time the icons cover it up, it's just a partial piece. And members use those to identify each other. this is how it looks now on pc and mobile 🤔 but what about this? 🤔 slightly tweak paddings (to better match posts paddings above, this is 1.5em) and replace old png with font awesome icon 🤔 the text will fit better on mobile screens too 😮 Länk till full forum post
