So in the AdminCP we can turn on permissions on a membergroup basis to allow users in that group to adjust how the forum displays to them. When toggled on, then they can visit their Account Settings and choose for themselves Feed View, Table View, Card View, whether the Topic List is simple or condensed, and whether user posts have left side user info or the newer condensed user info above the post. I desire to make the Sidebar Navigation the DEFAULT view for unregistered guests, but I know some of my users will want to be able to turn that off and just stick with the traditional header. Could this feature be added so that each user can choose for themselves whether they see the sidebar navigation OR the traditional header? Länk till full forum post

V5 Theme Editor: Header, Navbars and Breadcrumbs Organiser In the new Header, Navbars and Breadcrumbs organiser, what would really finish the feature, is to add a WYSIWYG rich text editor box option. This way clients can easily add an image or an extra text, of their choosing to the header, in whatevery place they like. For example to add a contact email, or icon, etc ... You can search content inside a Club but if the Club's name is "Boston" and you search for "Boston", you will not get the Club itself but will get any content which has "Boston" in it. You're welcome to suggest this in our Feedback forum, however though." Imagine 500 clubs to buy a home to live in by city or nearby area. How does a new member find a club in the specific city? Hello, There's no way to download all the invoices for a given date range. Every quarter, I must send all the invoices to the accountant, and there's no way to download them. We should have a date range where we can select the start and end date. Then ACP will let us download a zip file with all the invoices. If you have dozens and hundreds of invoices, it makes no sense not to be able to download all the PDFs at once. We should have the possibility to filter in invoices in a date range, and an option to download all the invoices at once, not one by one. Thanks Länk till full forum post

Hello, I would like to suggest that the courses module should let the Pages module to add blocks below the header. Right now, there is only the header COURSES and we cannot add a text block or anything underneath to give a short explanation about the courses. The pages module allowes us to add above but that doesn't make sense. We describe the courses below the header, we do not add a description above the headlines. I can drag a text box at 1 above the headline, but not below the headline at 2, where a description normally goes. Thanks Länk till full forum post

Hi, I wanted to introduce a small change to the group promotion system. We would like to have the ability to specify whether a given setting is required to achieve group promotions, especially when it comes to titles and badges. I believe that implementing such a system would give us significantly more possibilities, allowing us to integrate the badge and title system with the group promotion system, creating a unified structure. I think it is broken on v5.0.3. I have only the default install and no extra applications installed. It works fine in the ACP, but once I go to the live forum it doesn't work. It just shows for example forums as: #VLE#forums#!# or the home button as #VLE#home#!# The navigation buttons can be translated but that is pretty much it. Every time I'm in the bug tracker, or other databases with comments, when I'm at the bottom of the page after reading all comments I must scroll back up to the top to use the Next Unread link (or even the go to category/list link). Can you please move those links by default at the bottom below the comments? That would be the same layout as topics where the links are shown after the last comment. Or, if you'd like to keep them at the top after the "first post", I'd like to see a copy of the links at the bottom so they're more easily accessible anyway. Länk till full forum post

Hello, The individual Course lessons should have an option to insert a video from Vimeo or YouTube. Videos are a very important component of courses, so it makes sense to have an option to insert a video and display it at s predefined location. We could have the possibility of choosing where to display the video, at the top or at the bottom of the lesson. Hello, Can the Course grid and the list of courses display the prices too? The price label is the most important variable in s product. A list of courses should display the list of prices too, the same way that the most of products display the prices before the user clicks on the product. The product list currently displays the prices. Why doesn't the course list display the price? Hello, I believe that the Courses should be connected to the user groups function. The user groups, primary and secondary, is at the heart of Invision Community, and the Courses module had been left out of it for reasons I don't understand. User groups give us a lot of flexibility and allows us to connect the courses with any other module in the community. Now it's difficult to accomplish certain things because the enrollment or purchase of a course cannot be assigned to any user group. Thanks Länk till full forum post

Hello, It would be great that courses had a custom tab with the option to add a custom email for when the user 1) enrols a course or 2) buys a course. The products module already has the custom email tab. Courses are also products, so they should have the option for the admin to compose a custom email that the member will receive when he purchases the clkedr.Thanks a lot Marc. I don't want to edit any wrapper with html code :( :( I want a personalized welcome email like those that any business sends when a product has been purchased. I want to send him a welcome email with instructions, etc. It seems that the course module does not use any of the in-built funcitonalities in Invision, like the user groups and now the VERY basic and needed function to send a personalized welcome email. Every shop (business) does that. We must send a personalized welcome email for each product :( It doesn't make too much sense that the courses do not have that function. It's not that you have to build that function from scratch, it's already in ACP for the products. Love the tag manager idea. Here's some feedback. This tool is screaming for column sort, checkbox, and a merge or delete button. Some example tags for me: Lexus LC500 Lexus LC500 C Lexus LC500-C Lexus LC500C LC500 The ability to put a check box next to those and click "Merge", then select which one to merge into, would be the ideal from a UX standpoint. Being able to sort and filter tags would be an essential part of this tool. The same goes for being able to multi-select junk tags and delete. A whole two weeks has passed since our last release. The extra week allowed us to fully review a few larger updates that we've held back and require a beta or two to fully test before we're happy to include in a full release. Things to testThere have been some areas that have received a lot of attention and need extra special testing, these include: Page Editor (now works correctly for right-to-left languages but needs some testing in LTR) Custom badges (lots of work to make them more efficient and store a built version in SVG format) Editor bug fixes (lots of complex fixes, so please test the editor thoroughly) If you want a full list of changes, you can see that here.
