Hi, I don't know if anyone is thinking of this... Happened always. When I add a feed to show the last updated items from any application, it works as expected though the date that is shown in the widget is always the publish date. When we set to sort from "last updated items", could IPS show the updated date instead of the published date? Cheers, Ibai Länk till full forum post

Do you plan to bring a version of the "Create new content"-Button back we had beside our user menu in version 4? With the possibility to create a home page which isn't necessarily a special application or a specific database we now have to click several times to even find an add new thread/article etc. button. Or do I miss something? Or give as the possibility to create such buttons with the menu manager. Currently, I can create a button but it doesn't do the nice popups. Länk till full forum post

Are there plans for harmonizing the add image options so that in every application there are the same options? All mp4 videos attached to a post or article display a blank screen with the play button in the middle. This looks odd and is not the correct form to display the video. Why is the first frame of the video not previewing as it did in IPS v4? Länk till full forum post

I found that "Content Discovery" link in the breadcrumbs on a tags page link to internal/app URL "/index.php?app=core&module=discover&controller=streams" instead of friendly URL "/discover/" on Invision Community 5. Länk till full forum post

First of all I like current attachments system when I can upload one picture and then I can use it from existing attachments directory. If I need use the same picture in few topics, then I only select it from directory and not needed upload again. And best of all, I can delete images as attachments in other topics, the original image is still available in the directory until I delete the last existing copy. This is very well done, because it suits our needs perfectly. What would be good: We make tutorials for our customers where a certain sequence of images is maintained (for example, Step 1 - Image 1. Step 2 - Image 2, etc.). But sometimes it happens that between step 1 and step 2 I need to add another image. So I upload it, but I upload that image after the second image. So in attachment list I have Image 1, Image 2, Image 3. Yeah, it's logical, but could it be done in a way that I could change the order in the attachments as needed? That if I have uploaded images, for example, 1 and 2 and I upload 3, I would like to move it between 1 and 2 in the list of attachments? Länk till full forum post

So, I have been using the new tag system, and I do quite enjoy it. However, I have some feedback for improvements to the system. I. Frontend Tag Editor.Currently, to add or edit a tag, you need to go into the Admin CP and log in to deal with tags. I get that it is a closed-tag system, but it is also a headache to add a tag. Having some way to add a tag via the front end would be a huge quality-of-life improvement and also streamline having other approved users add tags as needed. II. Tag Search IssuesThere are actually two issues here. The first issue is that when I search for a tag, as soon as the tag reaches a point where it is unfounded, the entire box closes. So, let's say that I am trying to add "Invision Community 5" as a tag, but the site only had "Invision Community" setup. As soon as I type the "5" the box will close or as soon as I let's say misspell "Invsion" the box will close. It seems much more intuitive to have an empty results field or something. Hi, I had a warning about PHP being deprecated, so I've actioned that and removed any PHP we had in blocks. I've also had a look around to make sure any of the other gotchas are handled with the setup we have an I think I've got them all, but I'm still seeing this. Is it a generic info box, or is there something in our setup that's triggering these specifically? I've turned off username logins a year or so ago, don't think we use status updates and no-one really tags each other, so I don't think that's a problem either... I do have one outstanding recommendation, but I'm not sure how to view it? If I'm happy with everything as it is, what's the process for updating to v5? We have one Subscription plan on 99nicu.org , but the page showing this has a strange layout, the plan shows in a narrow column to the left. Tried in the Theme editor to change from Grid to List, without any layout change. Is this due to that this plan was created in the v4 software? Hello, I'm trying to add paid courses using the Course module. I've used many course applications in the past and all of them were very easy to set up the paid courses, free courses, etc. I'm struggling with Invision's. I've enabled the paid courses I've a price to the only course I added. I gave privileges to see and enrol the course to the user group "intraday_course" I logged in as a full user and there is no way to see the price for the course or enroll it. When I see the course, I can see it has 2 modules and 12 lessons. The logical thing is to display the PRICE right there because it's a paid course. It makes no sense not to display it. It goes against common sense and logical thinking. The price is seen when I click in the course. It makes no sense. Displaying the price in a list of product is mandatory, it's how it's been done for ages. However, in the course module, the client will NOT see the price until he is inside the course. it does not help at all. Can this be fixed? Can we have the price in the list of courses as it's done in every course application everywhere? Every Amazon price displays the price before the product is clicked, courses in Udemy and dozens of course sites do, it's how it should be done, except here. Thanks a lot. Länk till full forum post

Please add a group permission setting so we can control who is allowed to request account deletion. How is this useful? I've noticed that most members who request account deletion are new users with no posts, purchases, or activity. I want to allow these members to delete their accounts easily. Putting in a request to add a couple QOL improvements to the budding Tag pages, as I absolutely love them. Pagination for Tag PagesI think it would be great for users to remain on the Tag pages experience when browsing all tagged content. At present, you have to click a 'View all' link to see any further entries, and that page... is just a Search results page that doesn't look in keeping with the sleek new UI of V5. I would much prefer a paginated experience for tagged content instead, with each page offering the same grid-based look and feel as the main Tag page. Permanent PlacementDuring my time with the Alphas and Betas, it seems that entries are only displayed on their respective Tag pages for a limited time (not sure what the algorithm for it is), but it would be good for Tag pages to serve as more of a permanent archive of tagged content, rather than just an 'of the moment' or 'featured' section of the site. Kind of ties in with the previous improvement suggestion, as the only way to discover 'older' tagged content is to go through the 'View All' link and I don't like the design of that. :) Include Content Type in 'Recent Content' TabSmall thing, but it might be cool to include an indicator of the type of content displayed in the 'Recent Content' tab. I've mocked up a design below how it could look like, but I'm sure Ehren could do a much better job! :) Tweak the Headings on Tag PagesI know this is something I could figure out with custom CSS, but out of the box the Tag page headings look a little strange, with too much padding/margins within the container if no headline has been given to a Tag. I can imagine, on my own community, that I will have a number of "featured" Tag pages where I will go to trouble of adding descriptions and headlines etc to the Tag page, but I can also imagine creating many more Tags where I will not bother/have the time to do that (i.e. I might create some general taxonomy to assist with database categorisation). So on Tag pages where I won't add any additional information beyond the Tag name/slug, it'd be good to tighten up the design of that a little bit. Previously I used the excellent applications from @Adriano Faria to allow my members to ignore topics and forums. Since the removal of hooks in v5 these applications are no longer available.
