Long Post text: editor tool bar does not stay with where you are on the post What I mean, if you are editing a post that has long text and you are at the bottom of the post and you need to edit a line: you have to scroll to get the editor tool bar and when you do that you don't not see the line that you are trying to edit. If you were using tagging on your IPB V4 and if you have large number of tags, on V5 watch out????? IPB convert those tags and make them available when a user create a topic and load tags in the background that makes editor loading for a long time.... Well, if you have this problem either you have to make your tagging size smaller in the Admin CP or turned tagging off (I am talking about large size of tagging: I have 275 pages each page has almost 80-100 tags) If you have any other solution for this let me know Thanks Länk till full forum post

I realize the Courses app may not be used by every community, but for those of us who do rely on it, it would be incredibly helpful to have more visibility for our courses on the main forum index. Right now, unless I'm overlooking something, there doesn't seem to be a way to display Courses content via a sidebar or block on the main index - at least not natively. When you flag a user as a spammer, their topics and posts are automatically hidden. However, as a moderator, you still see them in the forum listings. What I usually do is select those topics and move them to an archive forum that’s only visible to staff, where we keep other archived posts as well. Suggestion: It would save time and effort if flagged content was automatically moved to an archive forum instead of just being hidden. Ideally, you could set the destination forum in the Spam Prevention → Flagging Spammers settings. In the ACP, I can set the default Album Sort Order. However as is an option with Database settings sections in the ACP, I am unable to delineate the actual order. ie; Ascending (0-9) or Descending (9-0). Hi, On the forum index page, in Grid view, topics always appear in bold; in Feed view, topics always appear non-bold. Neither case is optimal. Like with forums and sub-forums, I suggest that topics' read/unread status (non-bold / bold) should be displayed on the forum index page. Länk till full forum post

GDPR forces us not to allow any cookies, if we don't have the explicit consent of the reader. Now members tend to link everything all at once and you have a lot of embedded youtube.com links, which - you can guess ... - bring a whole bunch of cookies and problems in your nice little home. Even, if they are not allowed by the reader, because he didn't consent. Wordpress and other fancy stuff fix this with special insert tools and techniques not to allow youtube to set any cookies. I remember a search, where the search results could be shown as threads. So one didn't had to read through a hundred posts in one thread, but could see only the threads and read them or not. A suggestion for invoices created by guests in Commerce. Without repeating the same things that have been discussed already, I thought I'd quote the conversation. This would also relate to invoices created by guests for subscriptions. I want guests to still have the ability to view what is listed in my store or what subscriptions are available, but there seems to be unnecessary invoices that are created by guests that don't end up registering to the community. Invoices are left incomplete with no reference or ability to follow up members which adds to the unnecessary storage of blank invoices. Using images from magazine require us to use the alt text for copyright notes. Since the editor in V5 can't do such simple standard, we are out of business with those articles, which doesn't make me happy. This issue just jumped off the monitor to us while reviewing a V5 Creator Pro trial vs V4.7.21. It's a glaring difference. V5 changed how photos are presented the using the built in Gallery Image feed ...see screen shots. Members want to see photos, not file names. Standard block placed in sidebar in both versions pulling from a member gallery. And yes, we did see the new for V5 images block , but it requires manually uploading each photo. I can see a use case but it doesn’t answer my issue. Multiple photos also auto generate a carousel ... in the sidebar this doesn't work well. What are we missing ? Is there a way to revert to the old presentation or as an option …

I've made a great homepage for my test site in V5 using Pages, but I am toying with the idea of using the "All Activity" feed page as a potential homepage (mostly because the feed automatically updates and can load infinitely on request, which is something you can't do with the Activity Feed widget in Pages). So far, the All Activity feed page looks good with a couple of widgets stuck above the feed itself. But I noticed that any widgets I place on the "All Activity" feed is also displayed when visiting any other Activity stream page (such as "Unread Content" or "Content I Started"). Is there a way to set it so that the widgets I place in the All Activity stream page only…

When you create a new event, there's a toggle to follow the event. This can be set on or off as a default in CP/Member settings/Notifications. When you add a similar event (copy), the toggle doesn't display. Even if you were following the event that you're copying and follow is default on, you're not following the copied event. You have to go to the event and select follow. The copied event should inherit either the default or the status of the event copied. The toggle should display as it does for create new event. Similar content is a great feature for surfacing additional topics and encouraging engagement. However, Invision currently relies on tags for this functionality. The issue is that most members don’t consistently use tags, which limits the usefulness of the similar content suggestions. I suggest updating the algorithm to rely more on topic titles (and perhaps even content) rather than just tags. I've seen this mentioned a couple of times in other places, but don't think it has ever been officially posted as feedback(?) Available subscriptions are in set columns on the Subcriptions page, which forms a lot of white-space. If you have only one or two subscriptions, a lot of real eastate is blank and looks unbalanced: Perhaps an option is to allow for rows instead of columns? Or to fit to the space (i.e. 2 subscriptions fit 50% each of the table space, rather than 25% each and leaving the other 50% blank)? Maybe a toggle for administrators to set their preferred option?
