I have the Back to Top plugin enabled for my devsite on 4.7. The up symbol appears on both the desktop and the mobile display. It is such a convenience to move up quickly. I find when I look at the Invision Community site on my mobile, specifically Matt's reply to Invision Community 5: Editor Permissions and Custom Embeds, that I had to flick and flick and flick to reach the top of the site and refer to another notification. My suggestion: implement a return to top or back to top as a default feature for the platform, especially since 'plugins' are going away for v5. Länk till full forum post

It would be 🤯 to be able to have an internal AI connected to the different databases that we can create with Pages as well as that of the forum. This would make it possible, for example, to ask the AI for specific things about previously published content. When you have been in existence for 20 years and you cover the daily news of a football club, you have a quantity of data full of history. We require more info from someone joining one of our events, and now use Google forms to collect it...just indicating that you're going on the event isn't enough. I think I made a feature topic about Our Picks before, but I had this brainwave and wanted to share another idea. It would be great to allow community members to 'suggest' content for promotion onto the Our Picks (or Featured, or whatever it's going to be called in V5) page. They could click a button saying "I loved this! Suggest for Promotion" or something, and a dialog could appear with a text field asking why they liked it and why they want it to be shown on the front page (so others may see it). These submissions could be collected into the ModCP and mods/admins could consider them for inclusion - if so, they can tweak a suggested headline and body copy much like…

Hi, We just wanted to voice or concern and dismay re the impending deprecation of the Support requests feature. Appreciate it's somewhat basic and that there's more advanced alternatives on the market but for many small communities like ours, all we need is a basic solution and that's exactly what Invision provides. I’d love an option to disable public view counts for articles and even forum topics. We’ve become accustomed to seeing this because it has been around forever, but I think it’s detrimental to a community. Encouraging everyone to participate can be really tough for those whose topics or blog posts don’t get many views. People get discouraged easily. The AdminCP setting to "Automatically embed links" applies to every platform that is supported, and while I want to be able to allow embedding of YouTube videos etc I want to DISABLE Twitter links specifically. There appears to be no sub-setting to choose which platforms you can allow embedding on - it would be good to have support for this. I love the new Events system and the look of the interface. There's only one thing that I find confusing: on future events that I haven't signed up to yet, it says "✔ Going" - which I find confusing: the checkmark seems to indicate that I've already signed up, and the word "Going" seems to indicate a current status, as if I'm already "Going" to this event. Put that in perspective with the "✖ Decline" button that is an action word, and not a status. So to make it clear I suggest that the button that lets you sign up for an event is named "Sign Up". Hi there, I had a question from a community member about this but want to confirm it definitely isn't a bug or feature change. What I want to know is, regardless of the number of notifications, are they supposed to be marked as read as soon as you click on the notification bell, or are they supposed to only be marked as read after I've physically scrolled through and read them? If it's the former, this is my follow up question; Is there a setting that allows users to continue seeing the notifications as 'unread' if they have not been viewed or furthermore been clicked? You might be aware of this already, but it is a request that would be highly appreciated by myself and I think by the rest of the community as well. On my forums, I have specific forums which are not accessible for guests and also not for the google search crawler, because I prefer this forums not to be searchable through google. However, it would be great if we could set separate access (f.i. as a separate user group) for the AdSense crawler, because irrespective of whether you can google these private forums, I want the ads on these forums to be as relevant as possible.
